Admission Procedure
Students who have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology (PCMB), Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Computers (PCMC), or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Statistics (PCMS), Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) are Eligible for admission to this course. The application form can be received in the office or downloaded from the website. The completed application must be sent to the BGS GIPS office or uploaded online.
Documents required at the time of admission
- 12th std. marks card / pass certificate.
- 10th std. pass certificate for proof of date of birth.

Academic programs
D. Pharm
Eligibility
Students who have passed 10+2 with physics, chemistry and biology or physics, chemistry and mathematics can seek admission for this course.
Scope
This is a two-year course. Students who successfully complete the program will be able to register as pharmacists with the State Pharmacy Council. D.Pharm holders are qualified to serve as hospital and community pharmacists in both the private and public sectors. They can also work as medical sales representatives for reputable pharmaceutical businesses, and there are technician opportunities accessible in industry. Students who wish to further their education can do so by enrolling laterally in the second year of the B.Pharm course.
B Pharm
Eligibility
Students who have passed 10+2 with physics, chemistry and biology or physics, chemistry and mathematics can apply for this course. Students having diploma in pharmacy can have lateral admission to the second year of the course
Scope
The bachelor’s degree in pharmacy spans 4 years. After completion, students can register as pharmacists. Plenty of career opportunities exist in both the private and public sectors. Specific job titles include QC – QA pharmacist, production pharmacist, formulation and development executive, research scientist, drug inspector, drug analyst, drug adviser, clinical coordinator, quality assurance officer, scientific wring experts, and so on. Aside from this, there are opportunities available in the industrial and manufacturing sectors, as well as hospitals.

Hostel
BGS GIPS offers on-campus hostels for boys and girls, with a capacity of over 2000. Single, Double and triple-sharing rooms are available. Students receive both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals. BGS GIPS provides college transportation around Bangalore city. We provide safe and convenient transportation. We have a fleet of buses with good connections, and all of our buses are GPS enabled. The BGS and SJB campuses are on key roads that are well connected to local buses and other public transportation, and a metro station is nearby.
Library The college’s central library contains a wide range of latest edition books for various pharmacy and life science subjects, including journals, e-journals, magazines, and so on. The central library also has internet access and a system that allows students to access study materials from e-learning sources.
